Song: To The Sky

Sweetest Child,

Come to play,

We’ll go on a journey

hip-hip-hooray.

I’ll knead you some dough,

And pack your suitcase,

We’ll hop to a bar

and mince on some lace.

I’ll walk through the streets,

All cobbled and grey,

we’ll sit at a park

hip-hip-hooray

I’ll sing to a tree,

And hope on a lake.

We’ll have a baby

–          the head of a snake.

This is your story now,

I won’t pretend.

We’ll clamber about

Till it’s the end.

But remember my child,

Before your first wake,

That when you were born

You died at the stake.
