Borderline

I am cold now,

Tongue my little shoe, and how

Particles of yellow sun

Flapping, my yellow shoe

And I’m sitting,

Perched on a mountain

Lost wishes cake me

Drown me until I learn to swim

The deeper I go

The deeper the earth’s crust locks me in.
